“Play awhile. Sing awhile. O, let’s dance!” - Langston Hughes.

Harlem is a borough of Uptown Manhattan, New York, filled with moments of history.

The best of humanity's recorded history is a creative balance between horrors endured and victories achieved, and so it was in Uptown Manhattan in the 1960’s. The period became famous for its food, soul, and homemade lemonade. In a small family owned restaurant located in the heart of Harlem, Michelle brewed her first lemonade.

The recipe has remained a secret up until now.

We are delighted to share with you a sip of Harlem History!
